On December 2, 2025, we mark Giving Tuesday, the world’s largest movement dedicated to generosity. Around the world, people are pausing today to give, to volunteer and to celebrate kindness. Here in Mississippi Mills, that spirit is alive every single day.
A new way to “give where you live” is launching in Mississippi Mills this Giving Tuesday, as volunteers unveil the Founding Circle Campaign for the Mississippi Mills Community Fund (MMCF), a permanent fund established by locals and held and administered by the Ottawa Community Foundation to support community needs now and for generations to come.
This year, your generosity can make the holidays brighter for women, children and families fleeing violence in our community.
