Press Release - Royal Canadian Legion Branch 240 Almonte. Branch 240 Almonte of the Royal Canadian Legion will be doing some renovations at the Almonte Cenotaph in the coming weeks.

In the last few weeks, the Mississippi Mills Fire Department has responded to six grass/structure fires, five of which ignited from discarded ashes. Many people don’t realize the length of time required for ashes to cool enough for disposal.

The Mississippi Mills Fire Department has lifted the total burn ban for the Municipality, effective Friday, April 5, 2024. Burn Level Status is currently set at Level 1, which means conditions are optimal for burning.
